What is Freedom School Online (FSO)?
FSO teaches and equips emerging antiracists, abolitionists, advocates, and creatives from all walks of life using Black history to affect change in the world.
We center and prioritize the Black experience and offer guiding principles for allies to incorporate on their racial justice journey.
Who is Freedom School Online/1:1 Antiracism Coaching For?
FSO’s class cohorts are for emergent antiracists, abolitionists, advocates, and creatives who want to change the world.
FSO’s 1:1 Antiracism Coaching is for individuals who come from immense privilege or are new to understanding racial justice and its nuances.
How do I pay my tuition/coaching fees?
Please complete all purchases of enrollment or coaching at our Registrar’s office.
How often do the cohorts in Freedom School Online meet?
Each cohort will meet at a dedicated time on a recurring weekly basis across five weeks over Zoom. Each class session will be held for 90 minutes and recorded.
How many hours does each cohort require?
Each cohort will be a total of 18 hours. However, outside study and work (activities, exercises, and reading) are highly encouraged to get the most out of the experience.
How can I support Freedom School Online?
Suppose you are in a place of privilege. In that case, we encourage you to donate tuition enrollment or coaching to anyone historically marginalized to advance racial justice and their individual growth and development as a proponent of change. To do so, please make a fiscal contribution here.
